CHO, Sungchan
Cho is an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Real Estate at Hansung University and the President of the Academy of Northeast Asian Studies at Hananuri. He is also a co-researcher at the Asia Urban Center of Seoul National University Asia Center. He served as the head of land and housing center and the head of Center for Chinese Studies of the Institute of Land and Liberty until 2018. He majored in urban engineering and policy and received his PhD in Land & Real Estate Management from Renmin University of China. His major publications include “China’s Land Reform Experience”, “Land Justice, Saving Korea”, “Co-existing City: Sharing Land Values and Urban Regeneration”, “Anti-Gentrification, what to do about it”, and “Henry George and Regional Reform”. In 2017, he received the 2ndKim Gi Won Scholarship Award.
