Choi studied economics in university and received her master’s degree in urban planning. Currently, she is working as a researcher at the Center for Asian Urban Societies, Seoul National University and as a co-representative of Pinecone Commons. Her research is focused on social alternative ways for everyday life that moving beyond economic utility or GDPism(worship of gross domestic product(GDP) growth). And its studies have theoretical implications along with practical implications. She continues to pursue convivial spaces which everyone can access without discrimination.
